NuClass
Education App

A learning platform for schools to teach K-6 students

Problem statement

As the world's education sector moves toward a technology-based platform, online learning has become the norm since the pandemic. K-6 students are required to adapt their learning and interactions with teachers and peers through screens. The current solutions for teachers to connect and deliver their materials through online classrooms and virtual meetings and other digital applications. These applications don't represent the face-to-face learning experience for younger students.

Hypotheses

We believe that making the daily journey, schedules, tasks and learning progress visible and accessible at all times for K-6 students will achieve higher school tasks completion and class attendance rate.

We'll know this is true when we see an increased number of students completing school tasks using the app and an increased attendance rate in virtual classrooms.

Research

To understand the real problems and pain points, we started with interviews with teachers, parents and students.

  3. How might we transform the face-to-face learning experience to an online environment, mimick the structure where teachers coming into the class so that students have familiar structure, stay focused, engaged and connected with their teachers and classmates?
