“I knew very early on that I wanted to be a designer. I have always loved the idea of creating something out of nothing. Of starting with a blank page or an empty screen and transferring my ideas, resulting in a unique design.”

Thank you for visiting this space. My name is Michiko, I have a diverse background in financial services, retail, hospitality, events, and eCommerce, my design journey spans product design (UX/UI), multimedia, marketing, and branding. I'm a firm believer in purposeful design, always striving to align it with strategic business goals, user needs, and technology constraints. My approach to design is rooted in the belief that it should always serve a purpose and be aligned with strategic business objectives, user needs, and technological constraints.
Central to my design philosophy is the emphasis on collaboration, design thinking, and human-centred design. I thrive on collaborating with cross-functional agile teams, rallying their expertise to address complex problems while ensuring the end user remains the core focus.

I thrive on challenges - whether it's solving intricate problems, designing, testing, or working within tech constraints. My goal is always to create minimal lovable products while keeping scalability and continuous improvements in mind.
I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning. That's why I'm passionate about participating in design communities and hackathons. I find there's no better way to learn than by diving in headfirst.
